Navigant Research anticipates that NGAB companies showing progress toward commercialization will likely receive investment or will be acquired by the current leading Li-ion companies, according to the report. In four to six years, established Li-ion battery technology companies will be well-positioned to add these new technologies to their manufacturing, supply chain, and sales channels, offering a strategic advantage to those companies now in the pre-commercialization phase.
